Every
good search should begin with a generic
search engine or tool. We have created our
own which searches our entire site first,
and then allows you to use the Google search
engine. Don't forget to use key words like
lesson, grade, subject area |
 |
This
Level is made up of the 10 of the best
Generic Lesson Plan Search Tools. The
advantage is that you will not be take to
countless unnecessary pages. All searches
will result in 'lesson plans'. It's just a
matter of refining your search. |
 |
This
Level contains 10 Grade and Subject Specific
Search Tools. The advantage here is that you
can run a search with your Grade or Subject
area checked off so that you will not
receive Grade Nine lessons if you teach
Grade One, or Math instead of Music |
 |
We
call this our 'TOP TEN' Search Tool. Here we
have compiled a list of sites by Subject.
Simply click on the Subject of Your choice,
and you are taken to our Ten Favorite Sites
for Lessons and Resources for building
Lessons in that Subject Area. |
 |
The
'Do-it-Yourself' Level brings together a
complete list of Subject Specific Resources,
which will allow you to easily put together
a simple or complex lesson plan. This Level
is for those of you who have a bit more time
and energy. |
 |
Our
Newest Search Level, called the
'GRID-SEARCH', is a list of Tools that allow
you to find lessons by Grade and Subject.
Similar to Level Three in its intention,
these tools are built on a grid pattern
using columns and rows to narrow your
search. |
